CONSULTING SERVICES – CAPACITY BUILDING TO THE WORLD BANK VIA IAWD
In consortium with international partners a Cluster partner company provided consulting services, capacity building and targeted interventions to achieve commercial efficiency and business planning for selected water utilities from Kosovo*, Moldavia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
ALBANIA – STUDY FOR VLORE WATERWORKS
In case of this project Cluster was the main contractor and a Cluster partner company was our subcontractor. The main scope of the project was to develop a study which goes in line with Vlore Waterworks’ (more than 43,000 service connections) strategical goals, therein: proposing solutions for the removal of illegal connections, leakage detection, reduction of non-revenue water and reduction of energy consumption which will attribute to increasing the technical performance of the company.
AUSTRALIA – ADELAIDE NRW (NON-REVENUE WATER) PROJECT
The aim of the cluster partner company's investigation was to perform a condition assessment along four identified trunk mains, which can then be used to determine the remaining service life through remaining pipe thickness. With this method the leakages can be found and the pipe breaks can be prevented.
AZERBAIJAN - STRATEGY FOR AZERSU
At this project, the Cluster was the main contractor and a Cluster partner company was our subcontractor. The goal of the project was the identification of the existing situation and the development of a high-level IT Strategy in line with strategy of the local client
AZERBAIJAN – FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR AZERSU
The Cluster was the main contractor, and the project was done by one of the Cluster partners companies as a subcontractor. The study was created for the Azerbaijan Waterworks about the feasibility of introducing workforce management.
RUSSIA – CITY OF N.N. TECHNICAL & ECONOMICAL AUDIT
The aim of the Cluster partner company to prepare a presentation to the local government. The presentation contented the following topics: Technical and efficiency audit. Analysis of the company’s processes. GAP analysis (local legislation vs company performance). Water safety audit and advises. Energy efficiency improvement. Work force management advises. Water loss reduction. System improvement. Middle term (15 years) CAPAX plan – in line with the result of the GAP.
RUSSIA – DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF SARANSK
One of the Cluster partner companies is working in Saransk City (300,000 inhabitants). They are preparing a Development Plan to the local government. The main tasks of the project are: Design of the reconstruction of three pumping stations of the water network (Replacement of the old pumps, improvement of energy efficiency by implementation of gas generators); Water loss analysis; Screening the streets, mapping the distribution network; Failure and leakage search (detection); Training of the staff of the water network department.
SERBIA – SUBOTICA WATERWORKS CAPACITY EXPANSION PROGRAM
In the framework of the Cooperation Agreement with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN Habitat), the Global Water Operators' Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA), a Cluster partner company developed and implemented a specific programme supporting the capacity expansion of Subotica Waterworks in 2016-2017.
SRI LANKA - RECONSTRUCTION OF KALATUWAWA AND LABUGAMA
Our partner company with the Sri Lankan consortium partner and with the National Water Supply and Drainage Board of Sri Lanka completed the reconstruction works of two water treatment plants: Labugama and Kalatuwawa. The project was implemented under operation.
